Yes, Lots of people do. Sometimes they RT (Re tweet) you, Sometimes they Reply to you, and sometimes they follow you. They might not Always see what you said as they get Allot of tweets but they try their best to see as many people as they can.

I have been RT'd

I just said something along the lines of "You are really talented." LOL just say what you think of them. They like to know what people think of them.
