You guys haven't been in communication for how many months? And you're hurt because he's back with an ex.
You really need to stop dwelling in the past. If he was such a catch he would have waited until you were ready for a relationship. But he didn't. And he talked a lot of crap about you. That right there is not something you should forgive him for.
