Can i do this without burning my scalp?

I have weave in my hair and i wanna take it out. I cant just wash it then leave it cuz its impossible for me. Also i want to take it out friday after school (2:30) but on saturday night i have an event i have to attend. Then on sunday i have church then monday i go back to school. So i basically have from friday night to saturday afternoon I cant wait till next vacation because i had it in for at least 3 or 4 months. So i was just wondering.. how long do i have to wait after taking out weave to put in the relaxer. And do i have to wash it first or can i put on the relaxer?
