You can't really judge someone. You need to more understanding. Be on there shoes. Depression lasts for a long time and it takes a long time for someone to heal. Cutting releases harmons. They punish themselves and they always think its the only way to help there problem. She just needs help. you can tell her to "stop, its not worth it." u don't have to. the longer this takes, she might end up committing suicide..
