Why did we invade Iraq, but not Saudi Arabia? Why doesn't Saudi Arabia also deserve democracy?

Because morality has not had anything to do with the West's relations with the Middle East for decades, if not centuries. We do what is in our interests and only that. And then people complain and think they are wicked when they get hacked off with us and take steps.

People, get used to it. In relations with the Middle East we are the bad guys and have been for a long time. All they are doing is fighting back.

Oh, one exception.The USA support the murderous regime in Israel. That is clearly NOT in the West's interests but it keeps happening anyway - and amazingly we (again) whinge when people over there object and (again) take steps.
