What's wrong about a "desperate" status update when you post a particularly interesting post?

I'm in a facebook blogging group... maybe you'd be interested?

There's twitter....

You really should tell us what your blog is about... you could mention your blog when on a forum about that subject... It's a fine line, though... some forums choose not to distinguish between related (outside) material, and robot spam... which is extremely insulting.
