I'm not sure why you talk about Haiti a lot. Are you Haitian? Maybe I would explain that a bit somewhere, so people know more about what you are about. I guess I would search for people interested in news about Haiti. Maybe if you follow them and bring up Haiti, they'll follow you back.

edit: Soon after I answered this question, I went down to watch some TV and found out about the quake.
