How do I get my Dell Inspiron 1525 past the windows error recovery screen?
So here's the problem. One night I was shutting down my lap top, and so I closed it's top while it was shutting down. The next morning when I turned it on to use it, a Windows Error Recovery screen popped up. I thought it wasn't anything serious because I've seen it pop up so many times before in the past before it gets to the sign on screen, so I pressed enter on one of the options as it was counting down from 30 seconds. After pressing enter, it showed me the same error recovery screen. I tried everything I know. Rebooting, the diagnostics tests, f3,f12,f11, fn, and my computer still repeats the windows error recovery screen ever time I turn it on.
I tried reading up on the problem online, I had found the original manual for the laptop telling me that you should not close the lap top while one of the blue buttons was lit up on the laptop. I now see where I've made my mistake. But how on earth do I fix it??! I really need help trying to fix this, because I don't really have the money to go to a repair shop, and I start my 2nd semester in college next week, so I have to get it fixed before then because all we're going to be using is computer's this semester. So if there are any computer wizards out there, or people who have had the same crazy problem with their Inspiron 1525's , please help me answer this question and fix my computer. My last resort would have to be restoring the whole thing, which I also don't know how to do with a computer in this state, so please help? Thanks < P.S. - This laptop has Windows Vista on it. Hopefully that helps narrow down something lol. Ads |
