if you suffer mental problems is it difficult not to get emotionally involved in many situations?
im 34 , ive suffered with difficult mental problems since 17, ive always tried to sort help, even when i didnt know what my mental problems were, which are severe anxiety, ptsd and a personality disorder...ive suffered many misfortunes to in my earlier life like bullying, being victimised a lot.

i got through all this by showing inner strength, the mental health services certainly didn't help me.

i still battle with these mental problems, living in a council flat alone for 8 years now..

despite my mental symptoms, i often like to stay detached, cool, unaffected by people and society around me ?

but i often find that difficult in public, and as much as i try to be detached from things etc, i get flustered, anxious , panicky, angry, fearful, agitated etc......and i feel it shows to in public.

that frustrates me, because i want to be detached and unaffected by everything ?

thanks.
