"multicultural is an economic policy."

No, it's not. It's far more than just that.

Canada was the birthplace of Multiculturalism nearly half a century ago.
As the first nation to make it national policy, Canada's definition is the only correct one.

Multiculturalism is the integration of immigrants and minorities, removing barriers to their participation in Canadian life and making them feel more welcome in Canadian society, leading to a stronger sense of belonging and pride in Canada.

And by integration, we mean this:

-economic integration into the labour market;
-political integration into the electoral process and other forms of political participation;
-social integration into the networks and spaces of civil society.

The facts speak for themselves that it works better than US & European monocultures:

Plus things like this:

"The number one country for the best quality of life experience for expats (82 percent) is Canada. It's the third year since the index began that the country renowned for its natural beauty, Mounties and maple syrup has topped the list.

Nearly nine in 10 (88 percent) of expats said that multiculturalism was a factor, with 90 percent rating Canada's healthcare system as key and 96 percent feeling that Canada's human rights and freedoms allowed them to feel safe and secure in the country.

Canada also came top in The Well Being Index which comprises six self-assessment categories: state of health, degree of prosperity, sense of belonging and acceptance, life satisfaction, sense of achievement and overall level of happiness.

"The Quality of Life factors that contributed to its number one spot in the rankings yet again range from the culture, standard of living, sense of belonging, work/life balance, equality of opportunity to the state of the economy and financial security," Isley said of Canada."

And before I forget: Toronto's the most diverse city on the planet.
Over 50% of Toronto's population - including whites - were born outside of Canada.

So do yourself a favour: Instead of being wrong, check the facts first.
It'll save us wasting our time having to correct your mistakes.
