I think so, but not for everybody. I'm really shy and anti social and I always wonder 'Would I be like this if I hadn't spent so much time alone with my electronics?' but I also know people who use Facebook and text constantly and they're the most talkative and party people I know! I guess it depends more on the person, but the internet has given more people a chance to have an excuse for being alone and boy do they use it!
