You should gradually stop talking to him. You don't deserve a friend who is a jerk, and all of the drama will get you stressed out. If he asks you why you aren't speaking to him, just say "I think you're being rude, and here's why." Say what you feel about him, DON'T say "You do this, you do that." Instead, say "I feel this, I feel that." so it seems you aren't blaming him. You can't change a person, but if he can't be nice, then it's time to find a friend who treats people with respect.
