I think it's time for tougher gun laws and for the NRA to stay away?

I think the NRA should have restrictions put on what and where they can market their advertising so as to increase their mighty dollar. These mass shootings are the result of unbridled advertising and marketing of guns to children and where children grow up thinking that guns are the solution to everything. Only in America!
The government also needs to pass laws so kids can't go to gun shows or the rifle range as guns are an adult thing. Kids shouldn't grow up thinking going to the rifle range is a family day out. Teach kids more healthy peaceful activities so they can deal with their stresses better. USA gun obsession is the result of brainwashing kids from an early age so as to increase gun sales. Guns are for adults not kids and kids should not be around guns or gun activities or be allowd to participate in them.
Teach your kids well; and not focus on violence and guns as a stress release social occasion. Kids and guns don't mix just like drugs and guns don't mix.
