I am 13 years old and I am writing a book and is wanting to get published?

That is very ambitious for you to want to publish your book. It sounds like you have already put in a lot of effort into it. First, although your friends may praise it you need to do a couple things before you publish it.
Look over your entire story, and make sure you have edited it so that you feel it is your best work. Next, have a complete stranger read and review it, better yet have a couple of people you don't know review it. You need to do this so you can have an unbiased opinion.
Next, if you find that people really do like your book, look over it again, then send it off the publishers. Beware though, they aren't going to take you very seriously at age 13, guaranteed.
Good luck, keep writing, but I strongly suggest waiting to publish until you are at least 16 or 18.
