Why are people so obssesed with Facebook?
I see people at work checking personal facebook pages when they should be doing real work. I can see businesses, government agencies, politicians or companies using it as a marketing tool or way for a non-profit/government entity to spread messages. However, don't understand why someone would let others store that much personal data on a computer server that could be hacked.
Friend had a FB account, and had nosy family members harass her when she didn't attend family functions. Extended family used Facebook as peer pressure to get people to attend family functions. Question: Why are people willing to let others on the web know when they are getting married, what they did over the weekend, or see private family photos? With all of the cyber-hacking and identity theft taking place, it seems very risky. Thanks for your feedback. Ads |
