Is your internet allowance used when you play games dowloaded from Android Market?

That depends. Some games require continuous internet connection to be played. Some are playable even when you are offline and not connected to the internet. That just depends. For example, Angry Birds do not use internet connection, but if you were to, say tap on their Facebook link, then you would need internet connection.
