I recently changed careers and I am not happy, how do I explain why I am back in the market for employment?

I have found that the toughest questions are best answered honestly. When you are passionate and sincere interviewers can tell and I think they appreciate it.

I had a similar situation because I the educational field so I know the work is good but the pay could be better.

You might want to think about the type of institutions you work with. Explore the outlook and pay scale with schools and hospitals as opposed to state agencies which will have steadier pay rates/contracts.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to improve your situation... employers will understand. Think of this... as a social you are supposed to help others so you should also be able to help yourself and you need to improve your quality of life to do so.
