Well, to have many followers, if you wanna get followers free, you have to follow back everyone who follows you! Then tag them with hash tag #teamfollowback so people will follow you! If you're a 'rich person' you can buy followers from http://twimac.com/ or any others, but be careful, some might be scam and cheat your money $$$ :O
If you wanna manage your followers like if somebody unfollow you, you can go to http://unfollowers.me/ or if you're a google chrome user, you can go to web chrome store and install SocialBro, it can analyse your twitter account and find out who unfollow you! It has free version so you don't have to pay
