The best thing to do is to really just be upfront and straight about it. And if she had any feelings for you as a friend she'll be upset and say she won't talk to him anymore, but obviously that's not working, so don't let her quilt trip you. Good luck! You're definitely doing the right thing! A similar thing happened to me, except I didn't break off our friendship then. It got progressively worse until i couldn't STAND to be anywhere near her, and then breaking our friendship off became very ugly. Good LuckSmile
