Is the Brazilian Blowout good or bad for your hair?

THe brazilian blowout is basically a keratin treatment. Keratin is a protein that helps smooth your hair and make it more manageable, and if your hair is thick, course or unmanageable, it can be very beneficial to get the treatment. I used one called Cocoa Keratin Brazilian smoothing treatment on my curly frizzy hair and it helped smooth the curls out and get rid of frizz. Make sure there's no formaldehyde in the product you get! The Cocoa one doesn't have harsh chemicals or anything and it lasts about 3 months. It won't leave your hair pin straight, just smoother.

If your hair is fine or thin, then it's better to not get a brazilian blowout...
