So cons, is privatizing Social Security the ONLY solution to the problems it faces?

Why should there be no cap on what income is subject to SS taxes when there is a cap on how much SS one can be paid?

15% is a pretty steep SS tax to pay for ZERO benefit.

Lets say a person makes $500k a year. $500k times 15% is $75,000 per year just in social security taxes! AND this person will get the same SS benefit as a person that makes $75 k a year! Rip off!
