Which tablet should I get? Kindle Fire HD or Nexus 7?

Both tablets run on android so the apps are the same, they have the same size screen and roughly internet speed, and same space amounts. nexus 7 has a newer android (jelly bean) while kindle has ice cream sandwhich, the one before jellybean but those systems arent too different, but jelly bean is better and with the nexus 7 you can get the latest android version when its released but you cant do that with the kindle fire
overall they are pretty similar, i personally would DEFINATLY go with nexus 7 without a doubt
DO NOT GET AN IPAD, it isnt that great anyway, idk why people choose them over laptops for school
