Hello Haley,
My name is Krishna and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. Based on your post, you may need a replacement Battery. However, try the steps mentioned in the below link and see if it helps.

Please note, the battery carries only 1 year warranty, regardless of your full system warranty.
