Should I change barns ?

Wait, she won't let you ride by yourself?

I'd be like "lady, it's MY horse. I can ride whenever I damn want." Unless there are barn rules of course that you can't be alone under a certain age like 16 or 18 and you happen to fall into those parameters. Then it's purely a safety rule and not a bad one, in my mind.

Granted $500 isn't a bad deal for stall boarding that includes grain and training, it doesn't sound like she's training your horse.

You lose me at "she got my old Saddlebred/Saddleseat instructor and trainer to help her with him." So does that mean she currently has your previous instructor involved right now? Give her some credit for doing that, I know some trainers who would never dream of asking help. If you like the barn, is it possible to have a trainer come out to your barn and work with you there?
