Your best course is to earn your psychology and then study privately with a rigorous voice instructor.
It is often impossible to transfer if you are halfway through the senior year and you will have to meet the course requirements of a new school for the psychology major and for its general education requirements, as well as for the music major. Many universities will not allow a double major in psychology and music performance, especially if the latter degree is a bachelor of music or bachelor of fine arts. Do not throw away the nearly completed psychology degree. You may want it as a prerequisite to a master's program in psychology or social work if you eventually find yourself among the great majority of trained vocalists who cannot make a living from their art. The challenging music programs are very selective in admission. You are seeking a program which does not exist. Ads |
