I feel left out by my friends lately?

I have the same problem, it happened in high school and its happening again in college. I thought I could forget about this petty high school drama but it never goes away, you just have to learn to move on and find a lot of new friends. It sucks but its the truth, I don't know how people have best friends all throughout their life. Like meet them in elementary school, have them be a groomsmen/bridesmaid at their wedding and hang out when they have their own kids. It makes no sense and I just think we go through friends in a cycle and we get new ones every few years. Its the circle of life.
