I think you need to resume treatment with your counselor. Perhaps a different medication would help too. Sertraline (Zoloft) is a good medication and 50 mg. is a low dose but I've heard of some people who don't feel normal while taking it. But there are dozens of other medications that your doctor might try on you. The fact that you are anti-social and drink bothers me. Without the benefit of input from friends you are probably left to obsess over things you have on your mind. You need to get your mind on something productive like school or a hobby.
