main character: female, 15 years old. blonde hair and blue- grey eyes. she has low self esteem and is very shy because she was bullied when she was younger. she used to be your average teenager but out of the blue she vanishes and no one knows why. a week later she turns up seemingly normal. after that her friends notice she's change and most people stop being friends with her and think she's weird which makes her even more quiet.

main character's mum: 36 years old, medium length brown hair and muddy brown eyes. she's usually at work because her daughter's dad died when she was young so she has to work a lot. she is nearly always stressed from her job and even more so after her daughter disappears.

main character's friend: 15 years old, female. long black hair and hazel eyes. she is the only friend of the main character who continued to talk to her after she was found after disappearing for a week. she is very social but also smart and knows how to make people feel like she is their best friend. she mostly only hangs around with the main character because she wants to know why she ran away.

main character's imaginary friend: when the main character is found after disappearing for a week she has an imaginary friend. she doesn't tell anyone about it because the imaginary friend tells her not to. the main character still thinks of the imaginary friend as a real person but she knows its not. not sure if it should be a boy or girl.
