How do I fix my laptop?

The error you mention first was the laptop trying to read a program through the network adapter to start, because it could not find the windows files in the hard drive.

Now by the sound of it, your dad and you have deleted/corrupted the information in the hard drive, the normal way to fix this would be using the Recovery and Applications/Drivers disc that came with the laptop, it should give you an option to restore the machine to the factory settings. But if the problem is that the hard drive is damaged then none of this would help.

One more thing you can check is to go into the BIOS pressing F2 at the start and in that section label as boot look for what device is set be used first to load the operating system, it could be a hard drive, a cdrom, an external device, the network card or a USB device. Set it so the HDD is the first device to search for boot information.
