Yes, add it to the big search engines like google, yahoo and bing.

Here are some more ideas for getting traffic to your website (with those tips you alse get lots of backlinks from good pages and search engines would recognize this and add you anyway to their search listings):

- PPC (like google adwords)
- Video Marketing (especially via YouTube)
- here at Yahoo! Answers
- do SEO
- submit articles
- Squidoo and Hubpages
- Forum and Blog commenting
- Craigslist
- Social Networking and Bookmarking
- email marketing
- Ad Swaps / Solo Ads
