Some people do stupid things after a relationship.
I myself sent inappropriate text to my ex girlfriend when she dumped me.
Also referring to certain violent acts towards her and her new boyfriend.
It was all anger and something I needed to get out of my system because I was dumped in a horrible way.

However there is a huge difference between saying you will do stuff and actually do stuff. I agree, it's not pleasant to read someone wants to kill you.

You can't do anything about it, best what you can do is making sure good friends of you know this story for incase something unfortunate would happen to you.

Otherwise buy a pepperspray or anything. If he truly is a psychopath, nothing can stop him.
So let us assume he isn't one and he's just letting of steam.
