Items reported on Facebook give no indicators to the person who posted the video, the people tagged in the video, or anybody for the fact of the matter. When you report the item (video) it will give the Facebook moderating staff a little note with a red flag asking them to come look at the video. They will then assess the situation, why did you report it? The reason was that it was a video of you and you do not want it on Facebook for the public to view. The moderators look at your profile to identify that you are in fact in the video and it's not somebody else. Since you do not give consent to being filmed and ask that it be removed, they must honor your wishes and will remove it from your friend's profile.
Your friend will get a notification saying: "your video, (title goes here), has been removed due to personal infringement rights of the individuals portrayed in this video" So it doesn't say who reported it. It just let's the user know that it has been taken down for reasons along the lines of infringement rights. Now if you are the only person in the video and the FB moderating team notifies the user by saying the statement above, this may make it a little more obvious. Ads |
