Well, it's kind of hard for me to say, but I'll give it a try.

Based on what you said, it sounds like you scared him away.

Now, I'm not going to say how bad that may be, because I'm not sure what you mean by "extremely obvious." If you ran and kissed him and said "I Will Always Love You!" I would say that he is going to take some time to get back to normal. Considering that you said he took two weeks to ad you on Facebook, but only a day to block you, I'd bet he will need some time anyway.

My advice would be to lay off him for a while, then start building back up the space between one another. When you see him at work, be casual. Treat him the way you did when you thought he was taken.

Over time he should become more open to talking to you again. I hope this helps.
