How to increase Video Memory on Intel 915gm/gms 910gml?
Hi. I have a Dell Latitude D610 with a Pentium M 750 1.86Ghz, 2.5Gb RAM, and an Intel 915gm/gms 910gml graphics card. the Processor only reads 2gb of ram and I was wondering if I could use the 512mb RAM chip to make the graphics memory larger, since I know that the 915gm is a UMA card. If this isn't possible, I was also wondering how to turn off the dynamic memory switching since nothing I run will never ask for more than 1gb of ram due to the processor. Thanks.
The BIOS doesn't have any kind of options for editing it, I have Dell BIOS A06 so I'm not sure if I need to upgrade but even if i do, I don't even know how to. I also have to say that the video BIOS doesn't help at all. Ads |
