Ideally you’re going to need a great number of backlinks from a different variety of high PR sites, such as
• Article directories
• Web 2.0 sites
• Social bookmarking sites
• Video sharing sites
• RSS Sites
• Forum Profile Sites
Write articles and include your blog link in the author box. Distribute them to article directories, starting from ezinearticles.com. You can use isnare.com to distribute them to hundreds of directories.
Start creating promo videos (check out Animoto, their service is fun and easy to use), and add your (hopefully) keyword rich link in the description of the video. Distribute the videos to different video sites (Youtube, Metacafe etc.). You can use TubeMogul to distribute your videos. Add descriptive one word tags.
Utilize social media: create a Facebook page and a new Twitter account. And always share your posts on your FB page and tweet about it regularly – at least twice a day. Invite new friends on Facebook – no more than 20 per day – and invite them to like your Page. This way search engines will notice your presence there. You can create targeted FB ads too.
