How to ask a girl out on Facebook?

I know this girl from school, I have talked to her a bit at school and it is Christmas holidays now, and I am talking to her on Facebook, She seems to like me a bit, I don't have her number, and her phone is broken, I am not very good looking, and she is thought of the most beautiful girl in the year.
Can't ask her in person at the moment, because:
1) We are on Christmas Holidays
2) I am too nervous, even asking on facebook (pathetic I know)
Just asked and she said she will need to find a day that she can take off revising for GCSE mocks, (because she didn't plan any like I did) but basically said that she would like to So thanks to all the supportive people
