I have only had two budgies so I'm by means no expert but if you have only had him ten days I would say he is probably still warming up to you. Our male loves bells so maybe he will warm up to that toy. Ours like to just listen to tv and sometimes I play classical music but he doesnt seem to like that more than anything else.
If you plan to keep letting him freely play around your home it could be dangerous for him if you do not clip his wings because they can frighten pretty easily and he could fly into something hard enough to hurt him. Another way mine have been known to display their dislike for something like touching them is that they will bite and sometimes it may hurt pretty badly. As far as the name, what color is he? Ads |
