Can I send my query letters to agencies instead of specific agents?
I have been able to research agencies, but have had a lot of trouble researching specific agents. If I sent my query letters to agencies, would I actually have a better chance of having my work passed on to someone else? Is it even advised (or allowed) to send query letters to agencies? Thanks!

(this is for a screenplay by the way, but I'm assuming the general principles still apply)
