Well, for the underage kids, they are pretty much just getting their first taste of social networking and socializing with their peers. They haven't developed in maturity yet, and probably post useless statuses, like freaking out about seeing Justin Bieber or something in concert, like all those pre pubescent girls lol. They are not mature enough to handle socializing in a virtual world yet and might get in trouble and get taken advantage of in their statuses. For the 13-25 year old group, when you get more towards high school, you see people thinking about their future and their outlook and popularity, and they make posts about beginning relationships developing into long term, and, maybe beginning to network with college communities. You can determine their social habits outside the virtual world, and the kinds of cliques they are in. You also start seeing cyber bullying more with the younger teens through older teens. They run their mouths and start drama and belittle others in their posts, who are not so popular. You also see romantic relationships online being formed instead of meeting your significant other in public like it used to be. When you get into the older crowd, they have developed maturity in this world, or the majority have, you still get your immature ones, but they use facebook to contact family members and keep up with their former classmates when they were young. They also network with their co workers and provide more knowledge about life and use credible sources in their posts. Thanks for answering some of my questions about facebook.
