You could deactivate your account for some time in order to take a break. See if that helps you at all?

How do I deactivate my account?

To deactivate your account:
-Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page
-Select Account Settings
-Click Security in the left-hand column
-Click Deactivate your account
