How do I keep certain things away from family on Facebook?

You see, I wish Facebook were kinda like only a friend thing. But extended family members seem to enjoy friending me. Some I don't mind.....like the very few that I'm close with (only 3) or just don't care (like a couple cousins my age added me). With the cousins, I don't care if they see everything.....with the other three, I would hide some stuff but not all.

Then there's the other awkward six family members who friended me. Like, the ones who I met once in my life when I was seven and never saw again, or my aunt/uncle who have brainwashed their children (who all have Facebooks and friended me) into their political agenda and whom I do not particularly want trolling around my Facebook page.

is there a way I can limit the six family members from seeing anything on my profile?

And for the other three, how can I make it so they only see some things? I just need my grandma to stop commenting on all my pictures basically and to hide certain things from my aunt and uncle, but not all.
