Internet Questions. Can Anyone Help Me Please?
Why do authorities bother with hard drives? Why don't they just get your IP address & contact your ISP for information? Even if you're using a proxy server, it still routes through your ISP, correct? Is it because data you save on your hard drive isn't "recorded" by your ISP?
For example: If I have a picture on a flash drive, it'd be pretty difficult to say "your picture was uploaded on this date by this computer at this time, using this IP through this ISP." ^Okay, perhaps you can get more information than I think. How much? Photos: What happens to your photos or any data from old facebook accounts? Does facebook/imgur/photobucket/etc have designated databases just for this? "Nothing can be deleted off the internet." Well where does it all go? When Facebook was started, how'd they do it? I'm struggling to wrap my mind around a database that can support an infinite amount of data ...so what happens when it fills up? Do they just refresh it? Well, where does the old data go? Into another database? At any point in time, can they "erase" this data? Last question: Do you know what a 9ganger is? I'm not sure if that is correct, but they take pictures & ...well do whatever they please. I'm a victim & it's driving me crazy. I've contacted the administor/moderators of that forum & they won't respond. I'm not even a member! Is there anything I can do? I don't care if it takes me 10 years, I'm going to learn how the web works & hack my way into the forum & get my picture off. Gosh. Ads |
