Have you seen all the research that shows what's called the 'dumbing down of America'?

I have noticed for the last 10 years how people just out of school cannot add or subtract.
how there is no common sense among the teens or twenty somethings or even thirty somethings.
how the people just want the government to give them stuff.
how only the news and newspapers and internet can brainwash them into believing anything.
how the people cannot think for themselves.
it is sad
