What are some fun websites for an 10 year old?

You were top of the list when I signed in.

I have no idea about web sites for kids.....but...my daughter and son in law use youtube for Mickey/Minnie Mouse and a bunch of other stuff for the little curly top..she is 3 1/2. Like me they do not bother with cable tv...so using these youtube video's, and there may be alot more stuff, they have 100% control of what she watches. I suggest looking into that aspect as well. My expertise runs the line of Electronic Security/CCTV and other things electronic...I mention this as I did not allow computer access to my daughters when young, nor did I load any games telling them I bought a computer that would not run those programs....since I was fixing the stuff daily they took my word...and for some reason my TV could never get the channel Rosanne Barr was on either....go figure.

Now I need to annoy children wanting to be Special Forces and SEALS...they think getting shot at for real is like the games.

Edit: Seems the nut bag opened while I was typing. I only have experience bagging embezzlers....take the above as gospel or sarcasm to look back on the 100% control.
