Feel like I'm always being watched and people have negative views on me?

Anxiety yes but paranoia as well I'd say. It may be paranoid personality disorder rather than straight paranoia which could be one of many other things, such as paranoid schizophrenia. NO I'm not saying you have that or may be getting it just a fact for a few unfortunate individuals.

What interests me is why you went to see the psychiatrist? Did your doctor think you may be paranoid or have PPD? The psychiatrist decided that it was anxiety? That's not the sort of anxiety most people get for sure. Did he even suggest anything like counselling or medication? Is he seeing you again to check on your progress, if it's getting worse or better? It's reassuring he's not seeing anything serious but I'd have wanted to see a bit more follow up myself.
