If you actually think the windows surface is good its not, the windows surface is just a tablet with a keyboard, A Good laptop (in my opinion) is a Lenovo, any kind. Lenovo's are new and are stunning. Intel Core Processor, Thin Screen, Retina Display. Its also cheap from the 300$ range to 900$. its perfect for doing your essay's and research!
