The virus is mainly circulated via mail and on some wall posts. However, the links to avoid are normally easy to pick out. Normally they have nothing to do with what the message is about or they might be disguised as a link to a provocative website, for example :
" Well haven't you been naughty, look what I found. [insert dodgy link here] " You can also spot the virus if in the message the typing is nothing like your friends writing, this will look suspicious. Do let your friend know if they have the virus, this gives them a chance to take control before it could get out of hand. Finally, don't stop using Facebook just because of this virus armed with these tips you should be able to keep your computer safe from the eyes of hackers. After all, Facebook's still a great site! |
