My tweets are not coming up on the public timelines, why?

public timeline is huge.. SO it's very difficult to find your tweet on public timeline. It may not happen always. To check if others can see your tweet, just tweet with unique hastag. then search for that hashtag after 2-3 hours. if it appears then there is no need to worry.
