Its either that your laptop isnt new enough to run the games so it crashes or it's got loads of virus'.

If it's old, get a new one. If its fairly new, and you feel its the second one, you can wipe the machine clean using the original CD it came with. This will delete all your files, but it'll also wipe the machine clean.
