How come adults don't seem to see the social part of school?

Because adults know that how "cool" you were in school is completely irrelevant to the rest of your life. But bullying can indeed leave a lasting impact on people. I think the fact that children who do well in school are bullied is a sign of a very sick culture that values idiocy and ignorance over education.
